This event is OPEN to anyone. GHIN Handicaps preferred. If you do not ha ve a GHIN, you will play scratch. Handicaps will be team-based on the twoso mes (35% + 15%). Teams may be comprised of any combination of men and/or wo men of any age. The number of teams will determine the number of flights.
Check-in starts at 6:30 a.m. and will conclude at 7:45 a.m. for announ cements. The tournament fee is $35 per player and includes range, magic put ts, pin prizes, and payouts per flight. Development fees, green fees, and c art fees are not included, but are available at the tournament rate. The re gistration deadline is June 26th by noon. All tournament fees ne ed to be paid by the deadline.
2x2 Person Scrambl e (Both Balls): Each foursome is a team. Players in posit ions 1 & 2 play a scramble, and players in positions 3 & 4 play a s cramble. The scramble scores for both pairs in the foursome combine for a t otal team score. Each pair of players tees off, chooses the best shot withi n their pair, and plays from the selected spot. Continue this process until the ball is holed. You may place the ball no nearer to the hole within one club-length of the original spot. You CANNOT use the club length to move t o a better location on the course. For example, if the original ball is in the rough, all players must play from the rough. On the green, all players will play from the exact spot where the original ball was located.
TE ES: All Women from #1 (former Reds). Men will be by Handicap + Age. 59 and under will be from #3 (former Whites); 60-69 will be from #2.5 Hybrids; 70- 79 will be from #2 (former Gold); 80-89 from the #1.5 Hybrids; and 90 and u p will be from the #1 (former Reds).
Magic Putts& shy;& shy;: Each team receives one magic putt on the front and one on the ba ck. The ball MUST be on the green. This is considered one stroke (automatic one putt). You must determine that you are taking your magic putt, and you must pick your ball up at that time. Any attempt to putt out will be a pen alty stroke if holed and/or the number of strokes to hole the ball.
